Global warming is accelerating

Speed of climate change beyond expectations
The International Polar [research] Year (IPY) has just come to an end (Feb'09), and the huge amounts of data collected are being analysed. The big theme is that climate change is happening significantly faster than previously thought.

Global warming seriously underestimated
Professor Chris Field, an author of a 2007 landmark report on climate change, says: Future temperatures "will be beyond anything" predicted!

Solar warnings from NASA
NASA warns of potentially 'catastrophic' sun storms within the next few years.  As well as being a direct hazard to people, this will add to global warming.
